Chapter books our girls (ages 5 & 8) have been enjoying lately:

Ella asked to hear The Children of Noisy Village again, and I
loved reading it to her. It is just one of the funnest books to read
aloud, we all end up laughing together over the adventures of these
spunky 6 children. It is set in Sweeden, during a time before
telephones, with the children walking several miles a day to and from
the little one room school. 5 stars!

While Laurel was sick last week, I got the audio version of Half Magic 
for Laurel to listen to. What hillarious book that is! I loved sitting
in with her for a few minuets to listen in. 5 stars again.
